Bio - kerri perrett
Singer/Songwriter of Bush Ballads and Traditional Country Music.
The saying goes that you always find your way back to what you love! This is the case for Kerri Perrett, who is now, once again, enjoying professional performing and recording.
Kerri Perrett’s love for Traditional Country Music and Australian Bush Ballads has grown over a lifetime. Raised on her family’s bullock fattening and stud cattle property, “Bowenfels,” she formed a strong connection to songs that celebrate life on the land and keep the stories of the past alive. From any early age, she performed with her brother Dean at country music festivals and talent quests across Queensland.
After taking time away from performing to focus on the equally rewarding role of raising her family, Kerri has made a welcome return to the music industry. Her return to her roots was marked by the release in 2025, of her heartfelt debut single, “White Crosses and the Rose”. Kerri has been back in the studio and recording her own self-penned songs.
Today, Kerri is embracing this exciting new phase of her musical journey, writing and sharing stories inspired by rural Australia. Inspired by childhood memories and a lifelong connection to the land, her authentic voice reflects both where she comes from and where she is headed.
